**MAX 180 teams (Leg 1-10, Skagway, AK to Whitehorse, YT)**

**Minimum of 6 runners per team and a max of 10**

Open (Everyone and anyone)
Women (All female)
Mixed (Minimum of 3 males and 3 females)
Corporate (50% of the team must be employed at the same business/company)
Masters Open (40 years and older)
Masters Women (40 years and older, all female)
Masters Mixed (40 years and older, minimum 3 males and 3 females)
Golden Masters Open (55 years and older) NEW!


Official Running Teams

These teams run legs 1-10 starting in Skagway, Alaska and finishing in Whitehorse, Yukon. Start times will be assigned depending on your teams estimated total race time. The race starts at 7:00pm (6:00pm AK time) and every 15 minutes after that with the last runners leaving at midnight (11:00pm AK time).

**Minimum of 6 runners per team and a max of 10**

It’s important to estimate your teams total race time as closely as possible so that your runners aren’t arriving at the checkpoints before they open. If this happens, your runner will be held until the official checkpoint opening time and that time will be added to that persons leg total  time.

Youth (Open category involving 8 people under the age of 18)

Walking Teams

These teams walk legs 7-10 (4-person) or 7A-10B (8-person) starting in Carcross, Yukon at 4:30am on Saturday September 7th. Teams must check in with checkpoint 7 volunteers prior to starting in the race. Walking teams MUST walk their legs. Running or jogging is not allowed in these categories.

Ultra Category

Ultra (Open category involving 1 person running leg 7-10, Carcross to Whitehorse)

Ultra category starts in Carcross, Yukon at 6.00am on Saturday September 7th. This category is unlike the others where you have to check in at each checkpoint.  You MUST have a support vehicle providing support along the way.  If you can’t complete your race, please be sure to let a volunteer at a checkpoint or one of our race marshals know.

All registered participants will receive a runner’s shirt and admission to the awards ceremony and dance (not a banquet).

**No shirt changes after July 12 deadline** 

Additional shirts ($25.00) MUST be purchased online prior to registration deadline (July 12) We will NOT be ordering extra shirts to exchange at the finish line.

Additional tickets to the dance ($15.00) can be purchased at the finish line or at the door of the dance.


Plan ahead going into Canada Customs!  Support vehicles may experience waits up to 1 hour!

DO NOT have your leg 4 person driving support for leg 3.

If your leg 4 runner is in your support vehicle, have them walk through the pedestrian line with their passport.

They DO NOT have to wait in the car.

**Canada Customs allows us to continue our event by staying open 24 hours on the night of our event.  Without their cooperation, we wouldn’t be able to continue.  This is an International event and teams are required to take responsibility and plan accordingly**
